Julianne Eggold & Joelle Eggold Kohn of The Finding Papa Movie
Behind "The Finding Papa Movie" - Sisters Julianne and Joelle are originally from Northern California, but have spent the majority of their lives in Southern California.
Julianne has over three decades in the entertainment industry, from film school and projects in San Francisco, to theater and actor training at Stella Adler Conservatory in New York, to working as cast and crew in Los Angeles in multiple television and movie productions. Throughout this time, Julianne's leadership on creative projects, performances in music, and projects consisting of writing, camerawork, sound, and film editing continue to build, including her work as an award-winning writer and director for The Aquabats! Super Show! She has wide and varied career experiences and interests, which give her a well-rounded view of life. Julianne has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's in Social Work, which continue to underline her interest and to provide expertise in human behavior and thinking.
Joelle's career interests began with education in pre-medicine but ended in neuroscience and graphic design. After 14 years in the biotech industry as a research scientist, scientific illustrator, and marketer, Joelle became a full-time parent and volunteer educator, currently working as a University of California Master Gardener of San Diego County. She launched the Mouse and Weens podcast with Julianne as a conversational and interview-based creative outlet, and became self-taught in audio/video editing and publishing. Joelle continues to pursue creative, educational outreach and is a life-long learner and dreamer.
With fun parents who raised us in a very creative yet practical family enviornment, it is no surprise that we are embarking on this artistic journey together, documenting life along the way. We hope that you join us in our endeavors and stay in touch with us as we follow our dreams in film. Our goal is to discover more about ourselves, relationships, spirituality, grief, and all of our places in this world. And we hope that others learn along the way too.
